DripEdge.io ("DripEdge," "we," "us") provides software for roofing contractors, including the DripEdge web platform and the DripEdge FieldConnect mobile application (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of this website and to users of the Services.

Information we collect

• Account information. Name, work email address, phone number, role, and company, provided by you or your employer when your account is created.
• Location information. The FieldConnect app can use your device's location, with your permission, to show your position on territory maps and associate field activity with the correct property. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
• Photos and files. Photos and documents you choose to capture or upload as part of inspections, projects, or customer records.
• Customer and property records. Information your company enters about its own customers, prospects, and job sites, such as addresses, contact details, appointments, and project notes. This data belongs to your company; we process it on your company's behalf.
• Usage and device information. Log data, device type, operating system version, and diagnostic information used to keep the Services reliable and secure.
• Contact form submissions. Information you send us through the demo or support forms on this site.

How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
• Sync data between the mobile app, the web platform, and your company's connected systems;
• Respond to support requests and demo inquiries;
• Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and secure the Services;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Services, with service providers acting on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and database providers, mapping services (e.g., Google Maps), CRM platforms your company connects (e.g., HubSpot), and photo documentation services (e.g., CompanyCam). We may also share information with your employer (the account owner), when required by law, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as your company's account is active or as needed to provide the Services, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to authorized personnel, and we use industry-standard safeguards to protect it.

Your choices and rights

• You can control the app's access to location, camera, and photos through your device settings.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. If your data is managed by your employer, we may direct your request to them.
• To request account deletion, email hello@dripedge.io and we will process the request promptly.

Children's privacy

The Services are business tools intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account administrators.
